Web Site:

Smocking is embroidery consisting of ornamental needlework on a garment, that is made by gathering the cloth tightly in stitches.

English Smocking is embroidery on pleats that have been pleated before smocking. Its origin has been obscured in history but has been handed down from generation to generation. However its roots are traceable to a point through looking at the art of the past and in stitchery.

Sallyann designs her garments etc. then applies the design, stitching by hand, the completed smocking taking many hours of hard work..

Christening gowns, outfits and bridesmaid dresses are also made.

All garments can be made to order.
