Doreen designs and makes crocheted cotton bells. These are soaked in a fabric stiffener before being stretched over the mould and left to dry.

They are then decorated for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas, etc., using a variety of trimmings.

Together with her crocheted owls, mice, thimbles, Christmas snowflakes, snowmen and angels, it makes an interesting display of her craft.

As a member of the Ring of Tatters, she tats small items, crosses and bookmarks, Using various textures of paper and card, including recycled paper from old greeting cards, junk mail, packing etc., she also designs and produces animal fun greeting cards.
